| Red Beach School put together a team to represent the school in the Hibiscus Coast regional heat hoping to qualify for the Nationals in April. The winning driver of the Nationals goes to Ohio in America in July to represent New Zealand. A great prize. Our team of drivers was comprised of Luke Bretnall, Yasmin Pena, Jack Wager and Henare King. Very well supported by their pit crew of students and Mr Bradbeer, Louis and Roger. It was held on Brightside Road, the location was awesome, the weather was brilliant and the organisation was top notch. Well done to Sarah Carr and the Whangaparaoa Rotary group. Also thanks to The Rt Hon Lockwood Smith who came along to present the silverware. |
